Established in 2008, Materials and Devices Testing Centre (MDTC) of the Graduate School at Shenzhen, Tsinghua University aims to be one of the university facilities to provide a gateway to world-class research and offer professional services to the industry. In 2013, MDTC was recognized by China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) as a testing laboratory. Three year later, it was authorized by Canadian Standards Association (CSA) as a testing laboratory. With strong ties to the university and academia, MDTC is dedicated to being a knowledgeable, reliable and recognized third-party certification body and testing agency.

MDTC consists of four major analysis platforms, including: Microscopy Laboratory,Spectrum Laboratory, Physical testing and Chemical Analysis Laboratory, Battery and Energy Storage Analysis Laboratory, valuing over RMB 90 million, owning equipment such as FEI Tecnai G2 F30 Transmission Electron Microscope,HORIBA LabRAM HR800 Laser Roman pectrometer,Bruker Dimension Icon Atomic Force Microscope, X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy. MDTC's equipment performance and maintenance are strictly in accordance with CNAS regulations and CSA regulations. MDTC continuously advances its technical expertise and constantly invests in developing knowledgeable staff who are committed to work with higher efficiency to deliver predictable and reliable services.
