During Sep 5th and 6th, International Graphene Product Certificate Center (IGCC) has sent an audit group to Qitaihe Bao Tai Long Graphene New Material Co., Ltd. (BTL) to evaluate the factory. Germany certification expert, IGCC technical committee member Dr. Werner Bergholz was nominated to be the head of the audit group. This factory inspection was based by BTL’s application and the favorable type testing results given by National Institute of Metrology, China.
IGCC, officially established on Jan 18, 2018, is a global independent third-party certification organization founded by China Innovation Alliance of the Graphene Industry (CGIA), Phantoms Foundation, a renown graphene platform based in Europe, as well as some other relevant organizations. IGCC relies on the advantages of various graphene industry platforms around the world, adopts advanced standards as the certification standard, integrates top-level testing resources, to provide professional, high-quality, and package solution of certification services to customers around the world, maintaining a contractual spirit for the industry and building a trusted platform for the market and decision-makers.

Dr. Werner Bergholz, head of audit group, is a famous automobile and electronics product certification expert. He was the quality manager of Siemens and Infinion for many years, with plentiful quality management experience and conducted numerous second-party evaluation for the firm. During this field audit, based on the set-up and implement of quality system in BTL, he evaluated the product consistency and put forward many practical improvement plans.
The review team not only helped the company to improve the quality management system and process control related procedure, Dr. Werner Bergholz also introduced the advanced methods of product quality management, SPC (Statistical Process Control) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) to the company, in order to improve their quality control level. Applying the concept of Cpk index (process capability index) introduced by .SPC method, applying statistical techniques to evaluate and monitor all stages of the production process, establishing and maintaining the process at an acceptable and stable level, thus ensuring products and services. A quality management technology that meets the requirements of the regulations; FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) technology, based on factors such as the frequency of occurrence, influence, etc., predict problems in the system in advance, and address problems that can lead to serious results. Develop preventive measures to prevent them from happening.
