Secretary-General Li Yichun emphasized in his speech that the International Graphene Product Certification Center (IGCC), the world's first independent third-party public welfare certification body, was established under the initiative of the Alliance. On the one hand, the market of graphene upstream and downstream products was standardized, and the chaos of graphene products, such as false and true, fisheye and so on, was cracked down to promote the healthy development of the graphene industry. More importantly, joining relevant international organizations to seize the commanding heights of the international standard testing and certification strategy is of great significance to the implementation of the development strategy of "technology global merger and acquisition, industrial integration in China".

In his speech, secretary general Norbert pointed out that since the development of graphene-related standards by ISO/IEC in 2014, the standards proposed by China account for 35% of the world, which can be said that China is leading the development of international graphene standards, among which the strategic alliance of technological innovation of China graphene industry has played a huge role in promoting the development. Today, the graphene alliance took the first step out of the world and promoted the establishment of the international graphene product certification center, which is a milestone for the benign development of the graphene industry.

Secretary general Li Yichun awarded the IGCC technical committee expert appointment Letter to 8 industry experts from Home and Abroad. These experts are Norbert Fabricius, head of the European Union Flagship Program Standards, and Secretary-General of the IEC/TC113 Bid Committee; Dusan Losic, director of the Graphene Center, University of Adelaide, Australia; Antonio Correia, Chairman of Dental Quantum Foundation of Spain; Werner Bergholz, International Certification Expert of Electronic Products from University of Jacob, Germany; Professor Gu Yuewenzhi from University of Tokyo, Japan; Liu Zhaoping, researcher of Ningbo Institute of materials, Chinese Academy of Sciences and director of Zhejiang Graphene Manufacturing Innovation Center; Ren Lingling, researcher of China Institute of Metrology, and chief scientist of National Quality Infrastructure Special Graphene NQI technology research integration and application project; Dai Shifeng, secretary general of China Graphene Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance Standards Committee, etc. Secretary general Norbert Fabricius has awarded licences to six IGCC designated testing institutions, including China Institute of Metrology; Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences; National Graphene Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Jiangsu); National Graphene Product Quality Supervision Inspection Center (Guangdong); National Infrared and Industrial Electric Heating Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center; and Beijing Physical and Chemical Analysis and Testing Center.

At the end of the meeting, IGCC signed an agreement of intent with the first batch of entrusted graphene enterprises, such as The Sixth Element (Changzhou) Materials Technology Co., Ltd., Xiamen Knano Graphene Technology Co., Ltd., Jining Leadernano Co., Ltd., Ningbo Morsh Technology Co., Ltd., 2D Carbon (Changzhou)Technology Co., Ltd., Wealtech Co., Ltd., Beijing Natural Heating Technology Co., Ltd., etc.
